You'll learn:
- How to interpret physician orders and prescription doses plus common pharmaceutical terms
- Ordering, stocking, packaging, and distributing medications
- Understanding federal and state laws around medicine, including HIPAA
- Processing insurance billing and payment collection
An 80 hour internship is also included in the coursework.

After all your learning, you'll be prepared to sit the state certification exam, included in the cost of the program.
Once you complete the CPhT certification, you'll be qualified to work as a Pharmacy Technician in the in-patient and out-patient hospital setting as well as being qualified for retail pharmacies.
